When is it safe to allow a child to sleep on a pillow while sleeping? My baby is 9 months I know its still to soon but just wondering.

Most experts agree that children younger than two years should not sleep with a pillow. In fact, it is widely believed that children don't need a pillow for quite some time after that. However, when you decide to transition your child to a pillow, it is recommended that you use a small and relatively firm pillow. Otherwise, they may suffocate themselves with a fluffy, feather pillow.
