What are the exact qualifications in which the do e will pay for a private school for a that is special needs and is not receiving the proper setting in the private school? What exactly does a parent have to prove? i have a son that is 9 and has been giving the schools a hard time the first school he attended did don't know how to deal with him. there were no person who was properly trained. they gave him an iep that labeled him emotional disturb and only suggested counseling 2 a week and counseling outside. i then proceeded to seek the therapy for him and the counseling was not provided for him because the guidance counselor was on maternity league. they then kept calling almost everyday complaining about him. that he is smart but could substantiating himself. i then had him evaluated from a hospital with therapist as the examiner. they concluded that he not only was emotional disturb but also had adhd with impulsive. and suggested he needs a different setting in a ctt class. we then placed him in a ctt class and yet he still felt unaccepted by his peers and teachers and very insecure.the guidance counselor there was only there two days out the week going back and forth to different schools filling in.now ten months has past i quit my job to see if my baby was being treated correctly and fairly.now i see that it is just to overwhelming for him in such a place often complains that there is to much noise in the build or class.now this school is saying they cant deal with him
