What the Expert Says:

Wow, tomorrow is your big day! Take a deep breath! I can understand your excitement and trepidation. Your writing indicates an intelligent, so far well educated person. I can't tell you what to expect but I can affirm that your feelings are normal. My 14 year old son is entering high school as a freshman this year too, tho his school doesn't start until after Labor Day. He has been in a small private school so far so moving to a large public high school has also raised his anxieties. I'm giving him the same advice: take a deep breath, have confidence in yourself, think positive thoughts, and write in your journal when you get home. Good luck!
