Well, you seem to have the right idea about a consumer product test. However, I hope you will work on your spelling and writing skills before you present it to your teacher. I'm assuming that your example is about testing laundry detergents. You can do comparison tests on nearly anything that has competing product brands, e.g. saltine crackers, corn flakes, toothpastes, potting soils, etc. Just be sure to do a "fair test" - use the same exact procedures to do your tests.
