I don't know anything of West Valley Middle School, but I know a thing or to about Bearden Middle School because my daughter has been attending for 7 years now; she also will start grade 8. Bearden is a great place (in my opinion) for children to learn and get a good education. Not only is the sports department of our school excellent, but their grades are accurate. Here the children are nice and easy to get along with, not to mention the teachers. So if you want to take a mom's advice you can count on me because it's a wonderful school to graduate from.

The rating & reviews of Bearden Middle School is not great and stand 4 out of 10 through reviews & ratings by parents and students on greatschool.net. But everyone has its own opinions. I would recommend you to go through the entire school list in Knoxville here on http://educationseek.com/schools/USA/TN/KNOX/KNOXVILLE/ or http://www.education.com/schoolfinder , and review yourself the school that best describes your needs & criteria. If you decided on a particular school, and if possible try to contact the students or parents of students of that particular school to get better perspective view.
