Q:

My son is 10 years old. He has a learning disability. I'm trying to get him up to par with the kids in his class. He has been left back twice already

He forgets very easily how can I help him at home? Is there a specific program geared for children with learning disability. Thank you

Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk!

The School Psychologist and special education team may be your first step. Also, consider using assistive technology such as an E-Reader where words can be highlighted or audio programs can be installed to help with reading.

Yes, my son has learning disabilities too. Google intellectually disabled and you will find many helpful tips and resources to familiarize yourself with all the help that is available.
