Knowing his age would help. First, talk to him. Is he bullied? Is there a staff member who abuses him in some way? Does he like school?  Then go to the principal and discuss what could be a workable plan at home and school. Go back to your son and start the reward system for good days and what will be the consequences for bad ones.
