Yes his friends will be questioned as well for sure. They will need to hear all sides of the story to determine if he was indeed pushed or lead back to his seat. I would maybe confront his teacher on a one to one basis to see what happened. You will be surprise at the positive response you get from doing this instead of directly going to the school office.
