What the Expert Says:

Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk!

First, please consider contacting your son's school and discuss your concerns with them.  You may wish to write a formal request for a meeting to discuss what you have noticed and perhaps the school personnel have observed the same. Together you may be able to create a behavioral plan which will assist you and any teachers.  Also, you may wish to   talk with your child's pediatrician.

Lastly, perhaps these resources can assist you:

Autism Speaks:  http://www.autismspeaks.org
Kyles' Treehouse  http://www.kylestreehouse.org
Our Journey Thru Autism:  http://www.ourjourneythruautism.com
Natonal Association of School Psychologists:  http://www.nasponline.org

Good luck!
