You need to have a lot of patience and interest in teaching. Both has to be taught in a playful manner. It must be in the form of recreation. Have pictures and fun material to draw the child's attention.

children start reading when they show an interest in it. they start with pictures and tell you what they think is happening in the picture. you can introduce him to his name and those in his family. introduce him to rhyming and ask him to rhyme words - fat, cat,mat / hen, pen, den / mug, jug, hug etc. ask him what the first sound of each one is. - j - jug
