Hi Kim,

The answer varies school to school.  The most common age is 2.9 (two years and nine months old by the first day of school) but many schools accept children who are younger than that - especially those preschools that also serve as day care facilities.  Each school also determines whether or not they'll accept students who are not yet potty trained - something else to consider when choosing a school.
