Does the child see that it is a problem?  There is no magic answer for how to talk to a child about any topic.  As adults, it is important for us to take our cues from the child as to their perception of what is going on around them.  Listen to what they have to say, help them learn to solve any problems that they are experiencing and provide ongoing support and encouragement to deal with life situtions.
