It is always best to start with the child's current teacher. If the child has any special needs, then also talk with the special needs' teacher. As last resort, talk to the principal who may be able to answer your general questions, or direct you to the best staff member. Read the two articles listed below. These articles represent good background reading that might be helpful before your meetings.
