The best advice I can give you would be to go ahead and ask your teacher even though you're afraid (that's what they're there for!) but I understand. I was the same way as a kid. If you need help, Education.com's worksheets section has tons and tons of practice worksheets to help you master any subject. You might want to browse through and see if you can find anything that will help.
