Does anyone have websites to obtain simple material to teach genetics at 3rd grade level?
I am a parateacher working with a 14 year old boy that came to 8th grade last year from Honduras. When he came he had only had only attended kindergarten. He is now functioning at a 3rd grade level. The administration wants inclusion so we are in the general science class. Our next unit will be genetics and I am having trouble finding information, coloring pages etc. at such a low level.

A Canadian website, Nature.ca, has a fun interactive game "Pass the Genes, Please" that is appropriate for 3rd grade -- even good for the older students. You will also find a "For Educators" link there with other in-class activities:
