It depends. Is she going for professional ballet school at age 11? If this is not a career pathway (she is 8), then this is a lot of dance. If she is in school all day, and dances 4 hours after, when does she play? or meet with friends or do something else? or homework? Who wants this the most? Mom or child? We do not encourage "on point" or toe this early. Is she having fun? That is key to this question. Best wishes with the discussion.
