It depends on what they are required to do with the kids. I've taught that age group, and what I realized quite quickly is that their is a difference between being their friend and being their teacher. Be careful with that boundary, as you can quickly have them walking all over you. Teaching this age required patients and a calm attitude. Being fair and explaining yourself clearly is also important.
