Here is a resource that you may find helpful to your project:

Capital Community College's "Guide for Writing Research Papers
based on Styles Recommended by The American Psychological Association"... http://webster.commnet.edu/apa/

This resource includes an answer to your question about citing sources on the reference page, and also provides a sample research paper.

I would also recommend that you review the Education.com info center about No Child Left Behind: http://www.education.com/topic/no-child-left-behind-nclb/

Good luck!

Hi, on the Purdue OWL website there is a great tutorial on APA Style, with all necessary information.

Speaking of the reference page, there are some basic rules:

1.Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last name of the first author of each work.

2.Capitalize all major words in journal titles

3.Italicize titles of longer works such as books and journals.

4.Do not italicize, underline, or put quotes around the titles of shorter works such as journal articles or essays in edited collections.

Here some examples of references in APA style:

One author

Berndt, T. J. (2002). Friendship quality and social development. Current Directions in Psychological Science, 11, 7-10.

Two authors

Wegener, D. T., & Petty, R. E. (1994). Mood management across affective states: The hedonic contingency hypothesis. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 66, 1034-1048.

More information you could find here: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/

And don't forget to examine all rules of making citations and references in APA style, as if you made a mistake, it would be considered as plagiarism. You could grab this cool plagiarism guide, here is the link: https://unplag.com/materials/free-plagiarism-guide

it's a useful thing for all students who are working on research papers.
