Práctica: Pasaje No. 1

Esto es otro ejemplo extremo de un párrafo con las palabras y frases transicionales omitidas:

I went to work early to get some extra filing done. I got there; the phone started ringing. My boss walked in. He asked me to type up a letter for him. He asked me to make arrangements for a client to stay in town overnight. I looked at my watch; it was already 11 o'clock.

Añada las palabras siguientes y frases al mismo párrafo:

imediately    yesterday

Usted puede haber logrado una versión un poco diferente, pero ésta es una buena manera de haber llenado los espacios vacíos:

Yesterday I went to work early to get some extra filing done. As soon as I got there, the phone started ringing. A moment later my boss walked in. Immediately he asked me to type up a letter for him. hen he asked me to make arrangements for a client to stay in town overnight. When I looked at my watch, it was already 11 o'clock.

Once the eggs are beaten, pour them into the pan.

First, make sure you have all the necessary ingredients.

If everything is there, then butter the pan so nothing will stick to it.

After the eggs cook for a minute, start to agitate them with a wooden spoon.

Finally, when the eggs are sufficiently scrambled and fluffy, turn off the heat, serve, and enjoy.

After you butter it lightly, set the pan aside over low heat and beat the four eggs in a large bowl with some milk, pepper, and Tabasco sauce.
