It’s Never Too Late for a Flu Shot

Shot: If your children are between the ages of 6 months and 18 years, and they are not part of a high-risk group, they should get flu shots.
No Shot: Infants, children with fevers, those who had severe reactions to previous shots, those allergic to eggs and those with Guillain-Barre Syndrome should not get a flu shot.
Locations: Many health-care facilities&mdash;even pharmacies&mdash;offer flu shots.&nbsp; Also, community centers and grocery stores often set up days and times to get shots.

You missed the kids’ flu shot during October at the doctor’s office. Should you bother with finding another way, or just hope for the best?
