Introduce students to the term algorithm using the familiar story of The Three Little Pigs. In this lesson, students will develop an algorithm, or a step-by-step sequence of instructions, for building a house made out of bricks.

Get your students to be builders and create structures with a variety of materials. Students will have the opportunity to be creative, cooperate in groups, and discuss their experience.
