Question:
What will happen if you place colored construction paper in the sun?
Possible Hypotheses:
The color of the paper will/will not change.
Materials:
Colored construction paper
Pair of scissors
Procedure:
- Place a piece of colored construction paper in a sunny place.
- Place a pair of scissors on the paper.
- Leave the paper and scissors undisturbed for two days.
- Remove the scissors and observe the paper.
Analysis and Conclusion:
Did the sun’s energy change the color of the paper? How could you tell?
