Does Having a Religious Sleeping Schedule Mean Better IQ?

based on 1 rating
Author: Sofia PC

Grade Level: 6th - 8th; Type: Behavioral Science

Objective:

We will discover whether a religious sleeping schedule relates to a higher IQ.

Research Questions:

  • Are a person's IQ scores expected to be the same every time a test is taken?
  • Is there a relationship between sleep and intelligence?

Materials:

  • Three prepared IQ tests from one of these sites: http://www.braintraining101.com/the-five-best-sites-to-take-a-free-iq-test/http://www.iqtest.com/ http://www.free-iqtest.net/
  • Test subjects

Experimental Procedure:

  1. Ask your test subjects about their sleeping habits and jot this down.
  2. Ask them to take all three IQ tests. This is to ensure accuracy. Please note that some of the IQ tests do have ads. Simply just click “pass”.
  3. Take the average of the three IQ scores for each test subject.
  4. After you have tested all your test subjects, analyze your results. Do you notice any trends?
