7. Consider Alternative Admission Terms
Find out if the school you're waitlisted for has a guaranteed transfer agreement with a local community college, or if the school offers alternative campuses or alternative semesters. (Some colleges allow select waitlisted students the option of starting in the spring as a "spring admit.")
