7. Review and Evaluate the IEP

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires accountability for IEPs. Some states require that IEPs are reviewed every year, and others require that IEPs are reviewed every three years.

You can request that your IEP team meet at any time. Together, talk with your IEP team about whether your child is making educational progress.
