2. Encourage Curiosity
"Why? Why? Why?" Intrigued by the world around them, three-year-olds start to understand and answer questions. Your child will ask plenty of questions about things that happen in his day-to-day life. Be patient with your child. Depending on the question or situation, you may be matter-of-fact in your response, ask your child questions of your own, or ask him to save up questions for a later time.
