3. Social Reconstruction Focuses On Minimizing Social Inequalities
Education is used as a tool to shape the minds of the next generation so that students will, in turn, be able to shape a more just society. Teachers serve as facilitators who educate students on the inequalities that surround them. Even though this is a radical approach to education, the idea of reforming society through education has caught on in the U.S. and abroad.
