Name That Shape!
Does your child like cracking codes? Then he'll love this multi-step worksheet which challenges him to match shapes to their description. What shape has four equal sides? Find out the answer and he'll get the corresponding letter he needs to fill in the blanks. Not only will this reinforce your child's knowledge of geometric shapes, but because he has to put the letters in order, he'll be practicing numerical ordering and word recognition. And, because this requires multiple steps, he'll be revving up for more complex word problems in the higher grades.
