Zap! The shrink ray targets word pairs and shrinks them into contractions. Give your fifth grader a spin on the shrink ray to help him tackle identifying and spelling contractions. He'll read the sentences, circle the word pairs that can be shortened, then—zap!—he'll morph the sentences into brand new ones with contractions.
