Water Golf
Combine a golf club, raft and a swimming pool and you’ve got a recipe for some surefire afternoon fun! This game of pool golf will help your kids hone their gross motor skills and it’s a great way to help them channel some of that seemingly endless summer energy.
What You Need:
- Swimming pool
- Golf club
- Whiffle ball
- Inflatable raft
- Towel
- 2 or more friends
What You Do:
- Inflate the raft and place it in the swimming pool.
- Have your child help you lay down a towel near the pool.
- Have each player take a turn trying to chip the whiffle ball onto the raft using the golf club.
- The player who gets the whiffle ball to stay on the raft wins the game!
To make the game a little more challenging, have an older child make waves in the water. Or, you can continue playing until someone gets the ball to land and stay on the raft 3 times in a row.
