Swiss Oatmeal

What You Need:

  • Bowl with lid
  • Spoons
  • Oatmeal
  • 8 ounces plain yogurt
  • Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla
  • Fresh fruit
  • Knife

What You Do:

  1. Have your child put the yogurt into the bowl. 
  2. Slowly stir in the milk until it reaches a gooey consistency.
  3. Let your child pour in the oatmeal, one spoonful at a time.
  4. Have him mix the yogurt, milk and oatmeal together for about 30 seconds.
  5. Slice the fresh fruit into bite-sized chunks. Peaches and strawberries are yummy recommendations.
  6. Let your child splash in a dash of cinnamon and vanilla along with the fruit chunks.
  7. Stir the mixture one more time before covering with a lid.
  8. Have him place the bowl in the refridgerator to cool over night.
  9. In the morning, remove the oatmeal from the refrigerator.
  10. Let him grab a spoon and start eating -- it's breakfast time.
