Turkey Game

What You Need:

• Dice
• Brown construction paper
• Red construction paper
• Yellow construction paper
• Orange construction paper
• Scissors
• Marker

What You Do:

1. Using your hand as a template, help your child trace out two turkey shapes on the brown construction paper with a marker.
2. Using the scissors, your child will then carefully cut out each turkey shape. 
3. Then, have your child carefully cut out a large assortment of feathers from the red, yellow and orange construction paper. 
4. To get started, have the two players decide who goes first. 
5. Give both children a turkey shape.
6. Instruct whoever goes first to roll the die and then read the number aloud.
7. Next, have the child pick up the number of feathers that corresponds to the dice roll and place it on their turkey. 
8. Now it's other player's turn to roll.
9. Have the players alternate turns for 5 rounds. 
10. After play concludes, both children should count the number of feathers they were able to put on their turkeys.
11. Whoever has acquired the most feathers on their turkey is the winner.
