Using an empty tennis ball can and a swimming pool, you will determine if it's possible to have a conversation under water.

This science fair project demonstrates the principles of reflection through simple experiments involving mirrors and light.

Determine the relationship between the speed of a sound and the temperature of the air it passes through.

Look for a correlation between temperature and the intensity of cricket chirping. Measure ambient temperature and sound intensity in decibels.

The objective of this science fair project idea is to determine if sound travels best through the air, water or a solid.

The goal of this science fair project is to evaluate the effect of heat on sound wave frequency.
