Want to boost math and science learning? Take a bug expedition and give your first grader practice observing and charting what they see.

In this design thinking activity, your child will choose an animal to research, learn about the animal’s habitat, and then replicate the animal's habitat using household items.

This fun and easy project is the perfect way to help your first grader remember who's who, practice her handwriting, and help decorate for Thanksgiving.
