In this lesson, students will read the story My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss, and reflect on the many different feelings we may experience. They will use body maps to color in where they may feel different emotions in their body.

Help your class grasp the concept of "main idea" with this fun, hands-on lesson. Students will dive into mystery bags full of supportive detail clues to determine the main idea of each bag.

In this hands-on lesson, your students will get to sharpen their measuring skills as they measure lengths of items in your classroom to the nearest quarter inch. They'll get to then use their data to create line plots.

Support your students as they collect, organize, and discuss measurement data! Use this lesson independently or alongside Making Measurements for Line Plots.
