This is a fun lesson for your students to learn shapes while playing an engaging matching game. Your students will also get to practice their fine motor skills in this lesson.

It’s magic! In this lesson, students will “magically” move shapes together to form new shapes. Clay and toothpicks equal hands-on fun! Tangram challenges are provided for those students who need that little extra challenge.

Geometry meets data in this fun lesson! Students will build a design using pattern blocks and then graph the number of each shape used. This scaffolded EL lesson can be used alone or alongside Graphing Colored Counters.

Students will use their hands to mold clay into shapes, then divide those shapes into equal and unequal quarters.
