A Word a Day, Grade 1: Weeks 1–12

Watch your first grader's vocabulary blossom, one wonderful word at a time! This "A Word a Day" teacher’s edition, created by the curriculum experts at Evan-Moor, offers twelve full units of powerful practice. Each week, learners dive into four new vocabulary words. 

With kid-friendly definitions, parts of speech, sample sentences, and engaging discussion prompts, students will connect these words to their own world, making vocabulary learning a meaningful experience. Each week includes two review pages that can be used as assessments, making it easy to track your learner’s progress.
