Add and Subtract Up to 10: Box Puzzles

Have your first and second graders try to crack the code and solve the puzzle, one number box at a time! This worksheet gives young learners practice adding and subtracting numbers within 10 as they work through a set of box-style math puzzles.

In this activity, students will complete five puzzles by filling in missing numbers using addition and subtraction. The first puzzle is partially completed as a helpful example, guiding learners on how each number relates to the others. As students move through the remaining puzzles, they apply their computation skills and logical thinking to find the correct answers.
