Add Fractions by Finding Common Denominators

In this fifth-grade worksheet, students will find common denominators in order to make adding fractions easier! Learners must create equivalent fractions that have common denominators. Then, students can add the numerators together and simplify their answer as needed. As a final challenge, learners will add two mixed numbers together.

This practice helps walk students through the process of adding fractions by finding common denominators.
