Worksheet
Addition Puzzle Boxes #2
Addition doesn't have to be puzzling—practice finding sums with these puzzle boxes! In each box, students must make sure the numbers in each row and column add up to equal the number outside of the box. To do this, learners will fill in the empty squares using numbers 1 through 9, using each number only once per puzzle box. This worksheet focuses on sums up to 25.
This activity provides an engaging way for second and third graders to practice single-digit addition, hone their problem-solving skills, and boost their logical reasoning abilities. These puzzles also encourage students to do mental math, helping them to become stronger mathematicians.
