Addition Puzzle Boxes #3

Put your addition skills to the test with these puzzle boxes for second and third graders! In each puzzle, students must make sure the numbers in each row and column add up to equal the number outside of the box. To do this, learners will fill in the empty squares using numbers 5 through 13, using each number only once per puzzle box. This worksheet focuses on sums up to 35.

This activity provides an engaging way for students to practice single-digit addition, hone their problem-solving skills, and boost their logical reasoning abilities. These puzzles also encourage students to do mental math, helping them to become stronger mathematicians.
