Back to School Would You Rather: Social Studies Edition

Would you rather explore an ancient Egyptian tomb or a medieval English castle? Make your own choices in this exciting social studies activity! Students will answer 12 "would you rather" questions related to history and social studies topics. They will need to explain two of their choices and then discuss their thoughts with their peers. 

This worksheet was designed for middle school students starting a new school year or semester. Use this activity as an icebreaker to get students talking to their classmates and thinking about social studies. As they have fun discussing, students can also practice forming and supporting their own opinions.
