Beginning Blends #1

Common beginning blends such as fr and bl are the focus of this reading and writing worksheet! Students will be provided with a word bank of consonant blends that they will use to fill in the blanks and complete 12 words. Each of the words has a picture clue to help students determine which blend to use. 

This worksheet is perfect for kindergarteners and first graders working on early literacy skills. Practice with consonant blends supports students' phonics skills and can help them recognize sounds and decode unfamiliar words.
