Bigfoot Story

Extra, extra, Bigfoot’s been spotted! Read all about it in the Creepy Creature News! This third-grade nonfiction reading comprehension worksheet includes a bit of science and a bit of creative writing.

Students read a short story about the history of Bigfoot sightings. Then, they have to answer a series of questions related to that story. Some of the questions use text evidence, and some are “What would you do?” questions. The answers require students to demonstrate reading comprehension skills and ask them to think beyond the story.
