Blast Off Sight Words #1

Shoot for the moon in this playful sight word worksheet! Students will read the six sight words, including common words like the, of, and and. Then, they’ll roll a die and write the corresponding word in a rocket. They’ll keep rolling and writing until they have written a word in all nine rockets. 

This worksheet was designed to help kindergartners and first graders build a foundational knowledge of some of the most commonly used words. As students practice with these words, they can establish automaticity, making it easier for them to read sentences. They’ll also work on their handwriting skills! .
