Worksheet
Box Plots #2
Sixth graders will learn all about interpreting box plots in this helpful worksheet! In each of two problems, learners will be given a scenario and a corresponding box plot. Then, they’ll need to identify important information about each box plot: minimum, maximum, median, range, lower and upper quartiles, and interquartile range.
Use this worksheet to improve students’ ability to interpret graphs and figures that display numerical data. Learners can use their knowledge of the five-number summary of a data set and practice calculating range and IQR (interquartile range). These skills will be vital in both math and science!
The other two worksheets in this series can be found here: Box Plots #1 and Box Plots #3.
