Build a Sentence: KN and GN

Study the structure of a simple sentence as you practice reading silent letter words! In this worksheet, students will cut out a set of scrambled words, then paste those words in order to make a sentence. Then, they’ll write the sentence they just made and draw a picture to show the meaning of the sentence. 

This worksheet was designed with first and second graders in mind. Students will practice decoding words with kn and gn, which will help them build a strong foundation for reading more words with silent letters. They can also work on their understanding of sentence structure and their reading comprehension skills!
