Changemakers: Black History

Research famous and fascinating figures in Black history with the help of this worksheet! Learners will be asked to decide on an important figure in Black history to learn more about. Then, they’ll answer questions about the time and place in which this person lived, the important things they did, and their impact on the world.

Intended for fourth and fifth graders, this worksheet allows students to analyze the accomplishments and impact of Black historical figures. Learners will work on upper-elementary research skills and critical thinking. They’ll also build a deeper understanding of historical significance and civic impact, preparing them to learn more about social movements and change in the future.
