Color Land and Water

Explore a map of the world in this early geography worksheet! Students will look at a map that has all of the continents of the world outlined. They will be asked to color all of the land green and all of the water blue. The land is distinguished from the water with a dotted background to support students as they find continents and oceans. 

This worksheet was designed to give kindergartners and first graders a basic understanding of what the world looks like. Learners will use their logical reasoning and existing knowledge of Earth to identify land and water. They can develop foundational knowledge that will support them as they learn more about physical features and geography.
