Community Helper Scramble #2

Decipher the names and roles of common community helpers in this fun activity! In the first part of the worksheet, learners will unscramble the names of seven community helpers, such as a nurse, pilot, and coach. Then, in part two, students will use their answers to complete sentences that define the role of each helper.

Created for second and third graders, this activity aims to build community awareness. Learners can better understand communities, their organization, and the roles people play within them. Familiarity with community helpers can also provide additional context as students learn about services and service providers.
